I’ve been jumproping for about a month and a half now. I jump 4-5 times a week anywhere between 20-45 min per session. When I first started, my ankles were really sore which was to be expected because besides elementary school I hadn’t jumproped in years. The soreness in my ankles eventually went away but it’s come back within the past week and a half or so and it’s really affecting how intense my workouts are. It’s not like I’m dying–I can walk normally, and I’ll finish my workouts but it’s just irritating and I would’ve thought that after the first couple of weeks and being consistent the soreness would’ve went away. I’ve also been practicing new tricks and working on improving my boxer skip so that theres less pressure on my feet overall, especially during long sessions. Any advice on how to combat this?
